School Council - new initiative Tuck Shop enterprise - to raise funds for a new Sensory Garden

Last week, the school council met to finalise the preparations for their end of the week Tuck Shop that will begin after the half-term break. The school council will be responsible for ordering, stock taking and surveying children around the school of the products they would like to be sold in the shop each week. They have also discussed the children across the school who have a variety of food allergies and how they can include the foods they like to eat in the tuck shop. The tuck shop will be open every Friday afternoon from 3-3:30pm and the school council will visit each class. Anyone wishing to purchase a treat from the tuck shop can bring their money into school on Friday morning and keep it somewhere safe until the afternoon. There will be a range of treats on offer ranging from 20p to 50p. Any money made from the tuck shop will be used to purchase a range of things for our sensory garden.
